Statement

Maggioli SpA is committed to making its website accessible in compliance with Italian Law Law no. 4, of January 9, 2004. This Accessibility Statement applies to: https://www.theplanjournal.com/

Compliance Status:

Partially compliant

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set forth in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 Standard. The cases of non-compliance are listed below:

Inaccessible content

The content listed below is not accessible, in violation of Law no. 4 of January 9, 2004, for the following reasons:

● C.9.1.1.1 - Some non-text content presented to the user does not have an equivalent text alternative serving the same purpose;

● C.9.1.3.1 - In some cases, information, structure, or correlations transmitted and presented on the web pages cannot be programmatically determined (or are not available via text);

● C.9.1.3.2 - In some cases in which the order of content presentation influences its meaning, this is conveyed only visually and not structurally,

● C.9.1.4.1 - In some cases, colour alone has been used to identify a purpose, or distinguish information or a function;

● C.9.1.4.3 - The visual presentation of text and images containing text does not always meet the minimum contrast ratio required, with the exception of the waivers provided for by the Standard (e.g., logos)

● C.9.1.4.4 - Some text, with the exception of captions and images containing text, cannot be scaled up to 200 percent without the use of assistive technologies and without losing content and functionality;

● C.9.1.4.5 - In some cases, images of text instead of plain text have been used, which are neither customizable nor essential to the type of information conveyed;

● C.9.1.4.10 - Content that does not require a two-dimensional layout (such as data tables or maps) does not reflow when the viewport size of the user’s programme changes;

● C.9.1.4.11 - For some essential components, even in different states, the colour contrast relative to adjacent elements does not exceed a ratio of 3:1;

● C.9.1.4.13 - In some cases, when using the mouse pointer hover or keyboard focus causing content to be visible or hidden, there is no mechanism to dismiss the additional content without moving the mouse pointer or keyboard focus; the pointer cannot be moved over additional content without it disappearing; or the additional content fails to remain visible until the pointer hover or keyboard focus is removed, or until the user removes it, or the information displayed is no longer valid, except in certain specified exceptions;

● C.9.2.2.2 - Some animations, blinking, moving, or auto-updating of information lasting longer than 5 seconds or presented in parallel with other content have no mechanisms to stop or hide such events;

● C.9.2.4.3 – Some focusable components on some web pages that can be navigated sequentially, and whose meaning and functionality are affected by the navigation sequence, do not receive focus in an order that preserves their meaning and functionality;

● C.9.2.4.4 - The purpose of some links cannot be determined from the link text or from the link text together with adjacent content;

● C.9.2.4.6 - Headings and/or labels do not make content or functionality sufficiently clear;

● C.9.3.2.4 - Some components having the same functionality over a set of web pages are not consistently identified;

● C.9.3.3.1 - In some cases, when an input error is automatically detected, the item causing the error is not identified and/or the error is not described in text;

● C.9.3.3.2 - In some cases, labels or instructions are not provided when the content requires user input;

● C.9.4.1.2 - In some cases, user interface components (including form elements, links, and script-generated components), names, roles, states, properties, and values are incorrect or unset, or the user and his/her assistive technologies are not notified when they change.
